Estate Planning
The Estate Planning process consists of three (3) meetings with Natalie. An initial consultation is complementary, followed by two (2) planning meetings. The final meeting is the signing appointment where you execute and finalize your Estate Plan.

Trust Administration
As a Successor Trustee, it is important to understand the requirements and restrictions imposed under the Trust. When you’ve been appointed to administer a trust, it is crucial to work with an experienced attorney to ensure the estate is properly distributed under the trust instrument.

Probate
An heir or beneficiary of a Trust or Estate are entitled to information and accounting from the acting Trustee or Personal Representative. It is not uncommon that the Trustee or Personal Representative is not being entierly forthcoming with information. A Beneficiary can demand the information, and if they dont, the Beneficiary can seek a court order to provide that information.

Guardianships
A Conservatorship Proceeding is the process by which an individual asks for court intervention for an adult who lacks the ability to make their own medical and financial decisions. The two common Conservatorships are Limited Conservatorships and Probate Conservatorships. Limited Conservatorships are for adults with developmental disabilities. Probate Conservatorships are for adults who have lost capacity either through an accident or Alzheimer/dementia.

The process of Probating an Estate is complicated and time-consuming. Natalie will help represent the estate and executor throughout the probate process. Anticipate the proceedings taking up to at least one (1) full year. Attorney fees for Probates are based on the probate code and are on a sliding scale based on the value of the Estate.

Beneficiary Representation
A non-parent can obtain legal custody of a minor child through a Probate Guardianship proceeding. These are court suprervised proceedings typically after a parent has passed away leaving the responsibility of raising the child to another without the legal basis to do so. Obtaining a temporary Guardianship can be accomplished within a few weeks.
